  • Red Flag?

I got an email from a guy last March for care, people that the name of the account was AC. I have an opening coming up so I emailed him back. He responded today but the name on his email account changed to TB, the email is the same. Could this be a troll?

That’s definitely odd unless it’s a business email?

That’s weird. I would ignore. I’ve decided any flag is auto shut down for me! 🤣🤣

One of those abbreviations is a large, easily accessible vein the other is a highly contagious disease. Is he in medicine, perhaps?

The entire name changed or just the initials in the email?
Sometimes I use an alternate e-mail when conducting business verses personal.

Yes the exact same email address. But his name changed. Example instead of saying Adam Connors it says Thomas Burke.

A gay couple looking for child care? Maybe the dad used his own email address the first time and his husband's email address the second time? IDK - just thinking about the possibilities.

His original message says he is trying to get 50/50 custody of child.

Plus it's the same email letter for letter.

The 50/50 custody thing could still mean a gay couple but I missed the fact that it was the same email letter for letter. That seems odd. I would think if he were actually responding to your message letting them know you have an opening, it wouldn't be the same message he originally sent.

Yeah… that’s very weird. Unless he changed his name?

The email could've gotten hacked. That's what I'm coming up with. I know it might sound crazy.
