Good morning everyone. I hope everyone is having a wonderful morning so far. I just wanted to vent a little about a pet peeve I have that is probably a stupid peeve to have , but it bugs me for some reason..lol I have a parent who sometimes pays in cash and she gives the money to her 5 year old in the car to give to me..I know it's dumb for it to bug me but it just does..lol.. Just wondering if anyone else has a silly pet peeve like mine and if they would like to share them..Thank you..😊

I had a dc grandma who would take my mail from the mailbox (right by the front door) and hand it to me as she came in to pick up her grandchild. I know she thought she was helping, but it really bothered me! Thankfully, she only picked up a few times.

That would really bother me too. That’s just weird for her to give it to her 5yo. I have a 5yo and I just can’t imagine giving money to her to hand to someone in that context? Especially because it’s just so dirty. If I were you I would be like “thank you so much! Now let’s go wash hands!” 😂

I have a dcp who gives the check to her child to give to me, too. It is strange!
I have a lot of pet peeves haha! I don't know if this is silly or not, but I hate when parents treat their 4-5 year olds like they're babies. I've got a couple dcp who take off their 5 year olds shoes when they come in, hang up their stuff for them, put their shoes on them when they pick up, etc. I had a 5 year old who just threw his stuff on the ground, and mom just goes and picks it up for him. I'm like make him pick it up and put it away!

That used to bother me and I’ve since switched to electronic payments so I don’t have deal with it anymore. But once a schoolager gave me the check and told me they calculated how much I was making for all the kids and that one day they would be rich and okay All day just like me 🥰

I'll share this pet peeve because it's fresh.
I hate when Parents let their kids bring toys from home. I don't allow the kids to play here with toys from home for numerous reasons. I have repeatedly said no toys from home.
This morning dcg 3 brings in a high value ( to her) toy. I immediately tell her to put it in her bin.
We were outside at pick up I maybe 🤔 ...... sorta forgot to remind parent to take high value toy home.
I'm on vacation next week, leaving tomorrow 🙌
Mom texted asking if she can pick up the toy tomorrow. I didn't respond 🤔
I will respond tomorrow sometime when I'm well away from home. Oh sorry mom, your kid won't see her toy for a while.
Yes, I know not very professional on my part but Whatever. Sorry not sorry
