Anybody ever had a set of twins who are almost toxic together? There’s some twins at my weekend center. They are girls -almost 5, the most physically identical I have ever seen and their family dresses them alike down to the socks. They play together constantly at home, they are in the same class at school and they are at the daycare 6 or 7 days a week and are always together there.

They are super competitive against each other, they fight nonstop (physically and verbally), if one is playing alone or with another child - the other has to interrupt and start a fight. I’ve seen codependent twins before but not like this. They are sweet little girls but just terrible together but can’t be apart for a second.

My brother had twins (boy and girl) and they will be 26 in June and THAT is the closest I want to get to twins. When they were small, it was worse, and it didn't help that their mother was a 'don't touch my kid' mom

I had two sets of twins both short term, all boys. I don't recall any fighting and my DD played well with them.
They both sets left due to their parents not following the rules.

I've had twins, but in my experience they've been no different than the average siblings.

I had one set of twins several years ago - a boy and girl. They were two of the toughest kids I've ever had here; it was a huge relief (to me and to the other kids in my care) when they left for preschool! Loved the parents but the kids' behavior was tough to deal with day to day.

No but as a kid one of my afterschool sitters (not a daycare provider) had twin girls a little younger then me. The girls where not identical in fact they barrley looked related. They would fight when playing with each other. They would fight over who I was playing with. I think they would have been around age 6 or 7ish I would have been mabey 8 or 9ish. I hated realy playing with either girl but was forced to divide my time equally.
