This morning one of my favorite families gave me a $50 gift card to a great local restaurant -
so far a 20 oz coffee cup with lid/straw (whatever those are...lol) with my name on it and 'best teacher ever'! THAT's IT so far but they do know I love coffee so at least they noticed me!

I'm gettin' nuthin' for Christmas. At least not so far. I did however get birthday flowers 💐 including red roses, white lilies and dark green evergreen fronds.Comment

So far I got a homemade ornament with all the members of my family engraved on it.
I got a 50 dollar Target gift card. I also got a cute hanging bone shape wood carving thing with our dogs name on it. All the kids like our dog. I thought that was sweet.Comment

Today I was gifted a cute little basket with a blanket, a new tumbler for iced coffee and a few self care products.

Today, I was given a gift card, a teacher sign, fuzzy socks, and a tumbler that I’ve been wanting for a long time!

So far:
Dcf 1: scented candle, bag of Reese’s trees (my favorite candy), fuzzy socks, nice coffee cup with cocoa mix. This family is incredibly thoughtful and generous all year.
Dcf 2: gift card to Home Depot (I’ve bumped into them numerous times there in the plant department) and two jars of homemade Bailey’s.
Dcf 3: $100 cash and a nice card with a heartfelt note written inside.
Dcf 4: nice bottle of wine and gift card to a super nice local greenhouse.

littlefriends, I LOVE houseplants! Start with a snake plant and golden pothos. They’re both very easy to care for. -
I just bought a snake plant and a spider plant; wish me luck! I was given an orchid as a gift but it died. 😢

So far I’ve gotten $100 in a very sweet card with a boston terrier on it (my dog Maisie is a boston and she loves the kids), a starbucks mug and coffee set, and a yankee candle set of 3 Christmas scents.Comment

I have a Boston too!! Love that breed! She doesn’t love the kids though. Bahaha! Her ears, she is so sensitive if anyone except me touch her ears. So she is good about finding a comfy spot on someone’s bed of whoever left their door open and sleeps and snores all day. 🤣 -
They’re the sweetest and funniest little dogs, aren’t they?! Lots of snoring and toots! 🤣❤️

Ok, adding to my cup post here and the 'headache' soap post from my morning chat post; just now received a bag of fruit which means more to me than anything else because it is from a newbie child and the card spoke volumes about what my daycare has meant for her child; he's been here about 3 months and the mom listed specific changes in his conversation and overall happiness. So this makes me smile!

My last DCF (that gives me the most headache) gifted me coffee cups and bowls… it’s from a certain collection that I don’t like. I am also pretty sure it was from DCM’s personal collection. 😂Comment

Alwaysgreener yeah, I think it’s cute… just not for me. The one mug said “wifey” and I also cannot stand that when people use that term 😂 -
Yep wifey was a regift at the least but on top of that her giving you a mug that says wife or wifey is just weird, you are neither of those to her. -
Alwaysgreener I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that was weird!
But, thankfully I never have to see her again. She gave me their notice in November and I’ve filled the spot.
