Annalee I am giving it to them on Friday at the end of the day so they have time to process and let their emotions simmer down before Monday. Putting it into writing made it real… Printing it was a relief!
On one hand, I feel “guilty” because the kid would thrive here if his parents would just do what they need to do. When he started, he only said a handful of words and wouldn’t put them into sentences. Five weeks later, he’s putting 3-4 words together into sentences. It’s really a shame it won’t work out - but it’s on the parents.

Alwaysgreener thank you for the tip! I will ice it at nap time. I will definitely be celebrating when he leaves!!

GirlMomma When and if you can, put ice on the right spots. That should take the swolleness out and loosen it up. Going out side in the cold with your neck uncovered works well too.
If they stay the whole time, remind yourself ever day how many days are left and plan a celebration for four o clock on Friday after he leaves.

Thank you for checking on me! ❤️ I went to my chiropractor yesterday and had him work on my neck. My left side is still tight, but my right side is better. I do have a wider range of motion on that side compared to yesterday though.
The term letter is typed up and ready to go! I have an interview scheduled for this evening. So hopefully that goes well.

Annalee My jaw has been tense since he started. I dread him coming. Today, right after he arrived, I realized I could hardly move my neck. I’d been up and moving for 4 hours before he arrived and didn’t have an issue with it. I think next Friday will be their last day. I absolutely can’t do a full 2 weeks.
