    I think it's the common cold? I never heard about it until all of a sudden a dck tested positive for it and I had to Google it

      Were you concerned? Did you treat it any differently than any other virus?

    I'm pretty sure it's just the medical term for the common cold. As long as the sick kid has tested negative for Covid, RSV and the flu, has no fever and can function normally at daycare, I allow them to come to daycare as I normally did before Covid hit.

    Many years back a DCM called me, alarmed because her child had pharyngitis. Sounded alarming to me too, but a quick search revealed what it meant: a sore throat.
