If tuition is due regardless of attendance, then I wouldn’t refund them anything. They’re still paying their tuition for the week, they’re just using their deposit.

I agree with BeeNature. My policy is tuition is due whether the child attends daycare or not. It doesn't matter if they're sick, on vacation or spending the day with a grandparent, etc. I would still hold them to that agreement during their last week.

If they normally pay when the child is sick (and that's your policy) I wouldn't refund just because it's the final week and they are using the deposit.

Family is on their last week and using their deposit for it. What would you do if they didn’t bring dck every day, would you refund? Or if dck was sick and missed half the week?
