Freaking Out

What is a 4c rep? I never had one check on me.

I believe the "4Cs" stand for Community Coordinated Child Care.
When I first got my license, A lady from the 4Cs organized group meetings with other providers in my county or vicinity, so we could meet, share issues and ideas and also go through reminders of upcoming events all daycare related.
The 4Cs that I was introduced to, was there to support and assist daycare providers, by keeping a social link with other providers and also direct potential clients to their place

I used to freak out too at the very thought of an inspection!... but really, if you feel your place is childproofed, and your paperwork and postings are in check, then relax, at most they might give you suggestions if they feel you can improve the environment, and you might even appreciate them, just like suggestions you get on this board

Oh my gosh. I just needed to hear that. I take what I do very seriously. I just am terrified at the thought of someone coming in and telling me I'm doing a terrible job.

I've already found that out. I don't want to question, but there's a few things she's asking for that I don't see in the rules.

Good luck! I am sure you will do fine. There is usually some little thing they want you to add or subtract, just check the rules to insure you actually need to. Some inspectors view their own opinions as mandates.

I'm freaking out nervous. The 4Cs rep is coming to assess whether I'm ready for the State person to come. I want this sooo bad. I'm completely stressing myself and my husband out in the process.

My husband is assuring me that they're coming to help. I'm stiIl anxious though. I love what I do and I feel like I'm good at it.

I'm so glad that it's Friday!
