A coworker of mine in the daycare i work at bought the daycare from the owners in 2022 and is having problems with employees not doing their jobs, staying on their phones and basically not supervising the children well enough. Recently we've hired 2 incredible employee's that do a great job and help where ever we need them and work circles literally around some of the others.

I help wjere needed, make snack in the evenings and basically whatever needs to be done i fill in the gaps per say. Where i'm getting at is that one particular employee pretty much doesn't do their job, the classroom is constantly in a mess, equipment and supplies not put up things not put in thier place and they don't put the electrical outlet covers back on the outlets when they are done using them and we found out they charge their phones with those outlets and use them when they are suppose to be suprivivnsg the children! I feel sorry for her because i feel like she's geting pulled into 25 different places at once and doesn't really know how to handle this!

    Sorry to hear this.

Until the owner is ready to make a change, there is nothing you can do to help her. It’s her responsibility to lay out the expectations she has for her employees. It’s also her responsibility to terminate an employee for being insubordinate.

I would not want to be in a position to hire employees for any profession now-a-days. Our river stay was wonderful per the river/pool but the service for our rooms was not-so-good which was unusual for this place so when I inquired about the issue, it was due to staff....I did not see one familiar face and the manager had been there less than six months. Quality staffing is a problem for everyone now I think!

Yes! My recent experience buying shoes from Finish Line was wild.

I wasn’t greeted/helped by an employee there at all. One employee was talking on the phone with her ear buds in. The ear buds were so loud I could hear the conversation. Another couple asked if they carried extra shoes strings (since it’s shoe store and all) and the employee just said, “No, we don’t.” Nothing else. Just a no! 😂😂😂

I am 32YO I guess I’m just used to more quality customer service than what I witnessed/experienced that day. LOL!
