The leaves are falling now!! Seems like fall changed fast this year. Mornings are cool, cool breeze. I’m in the mid south. So fall can be hot still sometimes.

Had my first shingles shot today and I'm paying for it....tylenol is taking affect and hopefully these aches go away. 🤨 I did learn there is a new covid shot and they are doing away with boosters....this shot is similar to the flu shot and offers vaccine for multiple strains. Getting that as soon as it is in stock here....they are expecting it any time. Again, I'm doing alot of this for my mental health.....keeps me sane. 2022.....the year for ANNALEE'S mental health....should have took care of my mental health long before age 55 but no time like the present, right?.😁😗🤔😛

I feel like I won the lottery!

I found a giant package of 50 Sharpies and a mega pack of Post it Notes (I seriously Sharpies and Post it Notes) on clearance at Target yesterday.
Got them both for less than $3 each.

....and THE 2 most annoying kids I have are both gone M-W this week... ..these two kids drive me insane and are NEVER absent!
I must have earned some good karma or something because having them both gone at the same time is seriously the weirdest coincidence but I am NOT complaining..... It's so awesome that even the poopy baby, annoyed mom and late opening this morning can't wipe the smile off my face!

I just reached my 26th year as a provider. Just when I think I've seen it all and think my Parent Handbook covers all possible scenarios, a parent comes along to prove me wrong. It's been a constant learning process for me. Hang in there! Based on the things you've said in other posts, it sounds as though you learn faster than I do!

What are some alternative play ideas similar to shaving cream? Someone told me there was some foam 'stuff' in the liquid soap/sanitizer aisle at Walmart but I have never found it.....shaving cream or anything pertaining to food is not allowable.....we LOVED shaving cream but??? Any ideas?

My bro offered his sectional couch and two recliners to me as he is getting new furniture....he and his wife NEVER let anything wear out....just change on a whim so I said YES, YES, YES....happy about this as I knew my current furniture was DONE.....have had it since we got married and it was USED then😁

In 2010 we got new couches because we needed more seating when we got foster kids. In 2020 we DH wanted to replace the abused couches with new stuff. In early 2021, I agreed and we put the current things up for sale via FB and were planning on shopping for new ones that weekend. They sold that week, faster than expected, while we also did not expect that couches were on backorder, for 9 months. So I ordered a couch off Amazon, build it yourself, to use in the meantime. We got new couches in February of 2022. The Amazon couch is now downstairs, we just took it apart and carried it down.

OOOOHHHHHWHEEE; cleaning the dust out behind the old furniture has messed me up this morning! I hate sneezing during the pandemic. LOl Plus, I have a pedi and mani to do after daycare today with my cousins. Oh my!

My morning started off with a text from DCM, not sure if DCD mentioned this but the kids will not be there this week in the morning but they will be for pick up. (both kids go to school and get bussed here in the afternoon.)

I only had 7 yesterday and 8 today.....NICE.....have some two day nurses which I like.

Was sitting in the chair finishing up my pedicure this evening and a current dck1 and the mother and grandmother came in. So funny. They said “look there’s ms xxxx. So happy to see you take care of yourself”. With a can’t believe daycare people do anything but keep kids voice So funny!!!! Had a great time tonight!!!!

My family is leaving early today so I have a short day. And tomorrow is my oldest birthday party. Made Animal Crossing fossils out of air dry clay and bought fake bugs and butterflies. So there will be an AC scavenger hunt. Also painting pumpkins. We have remnants of Ian coming through today and tonight. So I think the party tomorrow should be okay. Depends on if a tornado rolls through anywhere and messes roads up. They said it might happen tonight at 11. So we will see. Can’t believe I have a 9 year old. It goes so quick.

As a mother of a 31 and a 28 year old, I'd say it goes even more quickly than you think! lol It feels as though my kids were 9 just days ago.

And who here is watching Hocus Pocus 2 this weekend!? We are tonight, hopefully. I’ve been yelling all morning “use thy voice Sarah! Fill the sky! Bring the little brats to die!” Woke my 9 year old to it. Lol. My kids love it when I act like a witch. I have to admit I’m a little good at it. Scary good at it… muhaha. 🧙♀️👻😁
