I am feeling good just mainly discomfort from food getting into my gums. I am finding it helps to swish my water when I drink.
I did drink some instant breakfast, yogurt and pudding.
I tried soup but the pasta got caught in my gums. I might be allergic to oatmeal, so I have been avoiding that.

I found the best thing I could eat was pudding and mashed potatoes. My mouth was so swollen that I had to use a baby spoon. The small amounts of food that I placed in my mouth helped to keep the food from sticking to my gums. Hope you feel better soon.

Oatmeal, yogurt, broth or soups like Lipton Chicken Noodle or tomato, apple sauce, cottage cheese? I hope you recover quickly.

Can you have any dairy? Like those Knorr Pasta sides or Kraft Mac and Cheese?
I had my wisdom teeth pulled and lived off of those Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes.
I hope you feel better soon!!

Could you get some of those meal replacement shakes?
Hopefully you recover quickly and the pain isn’t too bad 💕

Got my teeth pulled Friday, 3 wisdom and one molar. Every thing seems to be going alright but I having trouble with finding foods to eat as foods are getting stuck in my gums. They recommend soft food but not to use a straw. Any suggestions? (Cooked eggs are out due to allergies plus a hand full of other food)

e.j. Ironically, I saw an allergist this year and was tested to see what I am allergic to. My top things are pecan, almond, crab, peanut, and oatmeal. (Oatmeal and Peanut I still eat with no reaction but I do not normally eat the other 3) So it was either something I was not tested for (which I doubt) or more likely a case of cross-contamination in the kitchen, since everything that I ordered I eat regularly.
Either way, I will not be eating the leftovers or going back there.
I have another appointment, so I will talk to him about what happened. I will also make sure I keep Benadryl with me.
Honestly, If it was not for getting tested this year, I would have overlooked the headache as just a headache (and not as a reaction) then I would not have taken the Benadryl when I got home.

Wow! That's scary!! Thank goodness you had that bottle of Benadryl. If you haven't had reactions to food in the past, you may want to speak with an allergist who can test to see what you might be allergic to so you can avoid it in the future. They may even suggest you get an Epi Pen. Glad you're ok!
