Public pool season is classic for this. Shopping carts, public restaurant booths, checkout counters, public bathroom counters (wherever parents prop their kid) with leaking diapers are the worst. It isn't so bad for adults, muscle aches, headache, fever, and lack of appetite. Things most adults may not even notice as unusual. The rash on hands/feet/mouth may not even appear until day 8-12. By the time you know you have it, it is usually over.

Ugh! I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. I thank goodness I’ve never had to deal with it! I would consult with a doctor and see what they say.

I'm so sorry, I've only ever had one interaction with it, Dcg got it while I was on vacation. None of the other kids got it because they didn't see her the whole time. Although DCd tried to drop her off the day after she got diagnosed.

Same here; we had it over a 3 week span; 8 of my 12 got it...

We are the cleanest class in the center. toy washing, hand washing, shelf cleaning ect. Well, We got HFM! Started with one case this morning and is now up to 3 (outa 7). Two parents are keeping the kids home, third was told that since the fever passed and the blisters are covered with socks, that the child could come back (according to doctor). So my problem: Im leaving for vacation in 4 days! 4! whats the likelihood im gonna get it? Do I need to think about canceling my vacation? Just worried about getting it and possibly spreading it. Will be traveling with my mom with als and my aunt and then latter in the week my paramedic sister.
