I read and make short replies on my phone. But if I want to be more detailed I use my computer.

Those that on desktop, please check out the Stripes skin. I made it full screen. Tell me if you like that better. I can make all the other skins that way also.

I did not care for the full-screen look. Also, prefer the default colors vs the stripe colors.

At the risk of embarrassing myself...what is a Stripes skin?

It is a different combinations of colors and fonts for the forum. Stripes is just the name of it.

I also can change any of the skins look. I just need everyone suggestion of what would be better.

Ah! I had already changed that on my computer to the blue/green option - just didn't know it was called a skin. I learn something new every day!

I tried switching it to Stripes and that looked ok but since it's full width, it left a lot of white screen, which bothers my eyes a bit. I switched it back to the blue/green option and that feels better to me. I like having the dark blue borders on either side of the screen. It feels a little easier on my eyes.

Phone for most stuff. If it’s going to be a long or detailed post I’ll use the laptop

My phone only. I honestly don't use my laptop much or these days it's a grade 2 classroom. My tablet I use for movies at nap or reading.

That helps account for some of my spelling mistakes because it's sometimes me hitting the wrong key. The rest of the mistakes and grammar errors are a life long battle with the English language (the only one I know).

Where you a member of the older forum that was desktop only? If so, do you find the mobile layout here is easier to read an use?

Almost exclusively on my iPad. Sometimes desktop, but very rarely. Not tried my phone yet.

Always my desk top. My cell is only a flip phone and I do not own anything else.

Always my laptop. It's 'home' to me. Even though I got my phone in October, it still feels like a foreign object to me.

Sorry could not figure out how to respond to your reply.
yes I'm on the old forum as well. I find this new forum easier to use. But I'll admit to having spent very little time on it so far.

I see. One of the nice things about this forum is being able to have a conversation right at your post like I'm doing here. You can continue in your conversation in this post area by clicking on the "comment" link on the right side of your post.
