This is devastating. I am interested to know exactly what happened here. It makes no sense. I really hope it was unintentional.

From their local paper it seems Dad arrived at daycare 530 pm to pick up and found kids not there, while they were calling mom and morning teacher to figure out what happened another parent found them in their car seats in the parking lot. Seems they were put into car seats at 730 am. No information is available about any time in between. It is a really confusing story.

This breaks my heart

I never understood how anyone could forget their child(ren) in the car. It has never made sense to me. My car (and most cars now days) have sensors to check the back seat. If I open the back door to put something in the car, it will ding when I get out telling me to check the backseat.

I thought maybe she got to the daycare to pick them up, not realizing she had left them in the car all day while she was at work.

However it happened, it’s horrific. 😔

Homicide? doesn't make sense that the mother forget about the children previously and then left the car at the daycare.

The twins, Bryson and Brayden McDaniel, were believed to have been in the vehicle for nine-and-a-half hours before it arrived at the day care about 5:30 p.m., Wednesday afternoon, and 911 was called.
