I have been thinking about this toy. I think I found an image of it and I wonder, why couldn't you get a toy bin shelf or a set of drawers and make a gear workstation for yourself? I think if you found the right unit it would be an easy conversion.

A wall version sounds like fun. I’ll have to check it out.

Yes!!! They take a toy and literally play keep away. They don't play with it all. They just hold it with a death grip.

The very large lego like blocks. I got rid of them after DS #2 outgrew them, wish I would've known I would have another kid and then open a daycare

Ring-a-ma-jigs were one of my favorite toys as a kid! I bought something similar from Oriental Trading a couple of years ago. They're definitely not of the same quality as the original toy but the kids enjoy playing with them.

This is the one I had: https://www.bing.com/images/search?v...RST&ajaxhist=0

I don't see anything like it on simplay3 but I did see several things I really would love to order for the kids.
The prices listed really aren't bad! Thank you!!

I have a large total Lincoln Logs that I really pull out because of the same issues as BC mentioned above.

Tire swing is my only swing. All the kids lay on there belly and run in circles. I have a vintage plastic one and so want to find another one.

I still have some of my brothers and my toys....ring-a-ma-jigs, lincoln logs; even have my desk and my brother's desk from Santa for use in my daycare room....kids today don't take care of, play with, or know what to do with anything as they have so much stuff.....when we got something like these toys or a special desk, we cherished it as we didn't get stuff all year long....just mainly at christmas.

That is awesome, I will give that a go this afternoon. lol! I did something similar, just in the opposite direction. I let her hoard everyone's favorites over to her center while we did potty runs (her favorite time to loot), then I introduced a new set of toys to each the others centers. (COVID Regs) I grabbed and cleaned some yard sale finds this weekend, they made a splash for a bit. When she protested, I pointed out that she took their toys again so they needed something to play with. I once again told her that she knew I could not give them back without washing them, so she could just keep those "dirty toys" for the rest of the morning. Luckily she is my worst offender and will be the next out the door in a few weeks. I am just struggling getting her mom on board, she is fighting and arguing the move. She has even asked others to leave sparing her. Shoot me.

It's ridiculous isn't it? I have 3 boys that will be off to Kindy this Fall and they literally LIVE for getting to a toy area/center before the others so they can scoop up the prized pieces of whatever toy it is. Lately I've been paying more attention to who is the ring leader and who is the biggest hoarder and having that child choose an activity or area last while those kids less likely to hoard get to pick first.

It's helping a bit but not as much as I'd like. The other day my worst hoarder was the first kid in the block center and of course stockpiled all the special blocks so I let him but didn't say anything. When the second child arrived in the block area, I told kid #1 "Thank you for digging out all those special blocks. That was so nice of you!" Then I told Kid #2 to say "thank you" to Kid #1 and I let Kid # 2 have ALL the blocks Kid #1 hoarded. lol! He was so mad! But he never ever willingly shares so it was kind of funny....
