Vinegar, Clorox wipes for convenience, Odoban I prefer eucalyptus scent,
During the past year I've tried it multiple different kinds of wipes since I was unable to purchase Clorox, and I was so glad to get Clorox back. With Clorox I like how the wipe is made and as I'm cleaning they stay wet. Other braNDS didn't scrub or they dried out and I was constantly getting a new one.

Clorox wipes and bleach, bleach + water. I don't appreciate the smell of any of these but stuff needs to be properly disinfected.

As long as your state does not specify, yes. Many agencies have learned a lot since COVID and realized there were better options out there since those rules were written. I had to fight like crazy to get ipecac syrup removed from our required first aid list because it is against every single poison treatment plan that exists today. Using it could have cost me my healthcare certification. Not to mention that nobody even stocked it, anymore. Once they put it in there, they do not like to take it out. lol!!

LOL Ipecac, interesting, I never have used it, only heard about it. My dad is against witch hazel, it was used on his army buddies and he said he would never use it. --- It is funny but you would think that healthcare and daycare would be on the same side on something like that. As a former foster care parent, I had a hard time adjusting to the difference in the rules between foster and daycare in my state. I just can not understand why if it is safe for one group of kids and not another. (Trampolines are okay for fosters but unfinished (no drop ceiling installed) basements are not but vice versa for daycare)

Looks like we may be able to use Odoban...
Examples of sanitizing solutions include but are not limited to:
• Water and non-scented chlorine bleach with a concentration of bleach between 50
– 200 parts per million (one teaspoon to one tablespoon of bleach per gallon of
water). This solution must be made fresh daily.
• Commercial sanitizers (products labeled as a sanitizer purchased at a store).
Caution should be exercised to ensure they are used according to the
manufacturer’s instructions.

...I do not like all Lysol products!.. last year, when disinfectant products were hard to find, I bought a bunch of Lysol Lemon Breeze, it stained my new changing pad so bad that I had to replace it after only a few weeks of use. I sure don't trust it on my light kitchen floor.1 Photo
