Providers on a daycare page are all up In arms about licensing sending emails at the last minute and expecting them to drop everything and reply with what they asked. I made the mistake of asking ‘why don’t you just wait until the end of the day to send it since you’re obviously working and can’t do it now?’…. Apparently, not the right thing to say. Then one provider asks me if I sent the info and I said NOPE. She asks if im scared my licensor will be rude and picky at my next Inspection. I said NOPE.. then explained that somehow my last 2 licensors and they haven’t assigned a new one yet, so if someone emails me I’ll be happy because I have lots of questions for them 😂

Sleep through my alarm this morning, woke at 7:05. My first family comes at 7. I throw on some clothes and realized they were not coming today, they are still quarantined. So I hop in the shower before my next family shows up at 7:30. When I get out I see a text the baby is not feeling well. I guess it was a good day to over sleep. Lol

There is a post on Mercari for three used but in good condition pacifiers for $3 plus $3.65 shipping or $9.99 for local delivery. Yuck, I can buy new ones for less.

This morning I finally got around to sending a message back. I said "sorry my phone recognized your number and blocked your message." And then told him to check the state site of licensed daycares again and good luck on a search.

i probably would have walked the middle line: called him by his name so he knew I was on to him, then just say that I do not have an opening for him (without saying why). "Hi, Joe: again, I do not have an opening for you. Good luck on your search." What did you end up doing?

Got to love my computer text app. Got a text this morning looking for daycare. I only have pt available, so I ask for days and times. They need a full week so I tell them know and send them the link to the state list.

Now I am on my computer with my text messaging app that archives old messages. He responds and up pops old dcd/DCM name on my screen. They left without notice (for the child's 3rd dc) and I was told that they planned on reporting me (I never got a visit). They are on their third child and (saw a recent FB post that they were looking for care) they just lost another nanny.

Small chance this is someone else's phone number now but I think it is them. Do I ignore or let them know they are not welcome?

(their first child use to pull and sit on my dd hair, I had not replaced or I would have termed)

I picked up a DVD for my ds3, After I gave it to him he says, "I have been waiting for this for a long time" I am not sure if that tops his comment last month when we were browsing in a dollar store and when he spotted a bike chain, he excalms "That is just what I was looking for" lol I could not help but let him carry it around for a while.

So we are trying to find me a new van. The current one that we have was bought in a hurry when the engine blew in our last car.

Yesterday, we went to a small dealer that had a free carfax and test drove 2 vans. Well DH test drove them, I did not get a chance to. The first one, the exhaust went out as pulled out of the lot. The second started smoking and he came back early with it. DH thanked the owner and we left. The employee looked more embarrassed than the new owner did about the condition of the vans. -- Never going there again.

The roof inspector is lucky he didn't lose his drone! lol My dd was getting ready for bed one night and happened to glance toward her window and was shocked to see lights right outside. She said she was sure it was a drone - she could hear it. She thinks it was the teen son(s) of the neighbor next door since they did have a drone but we couldn't be sure. We keep our blinds down at night now.

There was a drone flying low over my home (inches at times) a bit ago and it made very uncomfortable. I was about to call the non-emergent line for permission to shoot it down when my neighbor called. The roof inspector had the wrong house and was happy to let me know my roof appears to have no storm damage at this time.

I made New York strip steaks last night for my husband’s birthday dinner. There was one left over so I grabbed Tupperware to save it.

This morning, I open up the cabinet to get something and there sat the steak… in the Tupperware cabinet. 🤦🏻‍♀️
