DCD comes in and says they’re trying something new… DCB2 has been doing so well at home on the potty that he believes he will do well here too.

I asked if he brought extra underwear and shorts and DCD practically gives himself face palm and says he forgot

It's Friday Night......and I'm sitting with my feet up eating a box of Belgian Mini Cream Puffs.....there are 30 in the box and I think I'm on number 15.....but I'm drinking water so I guess I'm good!

6 yr old DCB tries avocado for the first time. Moves it around in his mouth a bit, swallows and says "mmm that's not bad.! I like it!"
1-2 minutes pass. DCB starts turning a bit green and immediately throws up.
I get everything cleaned up and taken care of and he turns and looks at me and says "Does this mean I don't like avocado?"

DCG4 never wants to be here. She is always asking to go home, especially when she does not get her way. Our new game is whenever she says "you never let me do anything" I reply with a list of things that I do not let her do... eat, sit, stand, play, dance, color, read, smile


Today she came up to me and said "I love you but I just don't want to be here, I want to be home." But then the tables get turned on her later when my cranky ds3 says "DCG go home or I want dcg to go home" (he wants all the dck to go home because he is cranky and just wants his mommy) Then she says to me "DS just told me to go home, he does not want me here, I don't want to go home, I want to stay"

And one more - same 2 year old. I sit down and say to myself ‘I really should start organizing the toys’… walks up to me, pats my head and says ‘is okay. Relax!’ And kisses the top of my head!!

Currently, I have all newly turned 2 year olds and boys (6 total). We were at the park and another daycare stops by. One of the boys stands up, puts his shoulders back and stands tall, while eyeballing the girls (4/5 year olds). Turns around looks at me before turning to the girl and says ‘hi baby!’

When I first opened my fb DC page got message from teens looking for jobs, one was a friend of my niece. I had to explain the the openings we're not job openings but enrollment for kids.

Not sure if this is funny but not really a vent either so here goes.....true story....as I am going out the door today, a lady is coming down my steps to my daycare door and asks for a job.....which I tell her it's family child care and we don't hire from the outside but she could try the centers.....bless her heart she's a CNA in home health but there is just not enough patients she said. The 'just-stopping-by' was my 'funny' I guess.....but at least she was trying to find a job??? But then I begin to question myself as I didn't recognize her name, face or anything about her??

I just received an email from my CCR&R asking for donations to fund free daycare for parents. Like they are not already being handed cash for breeding right now.
