    They're useless.

    That is all. LOL

Anybody agree? I gotta change this child within 45 minutes of a wet diaper or else diaper rash is there.

What brand are they? I know it sometimes depends on the brand if they are quality. I wonder if the child is allergic to something in them.

Cloth is similar. If I waited 45 minutes after the child wet, there would be a major leakage and/or a rash. But I still love parents that use cloth as it saves me a ton on garbage costs lol!

I use cloth on my own kids and they never got rashes. All the diaper cream I got gifted to me, when they were born, I donated it unopened. Sometimes they leaked but only when they needed stripped or I didn't change them on time.

When I had DCk with cloth though, they were not washed properly and (stank) leaked everytime no matter how often I changed them but still no rashes. (I had my ds in cloth at the same time as one of the DCk and would change them at the same time and ds wouldn't leak)

IMO I think most rashes are food allergy related not how quick the diaper is changed. I had one Dcg get rashes and once they removed citrus from her diet, she never had them again. Sometimes they can also be diaper related, like my niece, stop using luvs and no trouble again.

Alwaysgreener That's really interesting what you say about the food allergy related. This dckid is also sometimes VERY gassy. I wonder if it is the cow's milk they give her every day. Or maybe it is all the fruit I give her all week!

Blackcat31 I've got no experience with cloth. I am thankful for that. LOL
My favorite diapers for my dd are the pampers 360. They fit like swim diapers and are tab free. She used to get rubbed by the tabs no matter what I did. So the Pampers360 really were quite the breakthrough, imo.

I have a few parents lately that are using Millie Moon diapers from Target. They are really nice! I recommended them to my DD who is due with my first grand baby in like 5 days!

Both of my DD tried Luvs but there is some sort of scent to them that would cause them to break out with a diaper rash. I had two DCK using Luvs and they leaked constantly.

I do think what children eat/drink will cause a diaper rash. When one of my DCK was transitioning to table food, he always had a rash. It was really bad! It’s since completely cleared and I am not changing him anymore or less. DD gets a rash after drinking apple juice.

I agree and definitely think it has something to do with foods. Not necessarily allergies but just the quality of food eaten in general.
I also think it has alot to do with each child's skin and what does/doesn't irritate them. Some kids definitely have more sensitive skin than others.

The family I have that uses cloth are great about it! They are pros at it... They actually own a cloth diaper service so I know they are washing and caring for the diapers well as their reputation depends on it. lol!

I think cloth simply doesn't hold as much liquid as a disposable and I think that disposables keep the the wetness away from baby's skin better as cloth doesn't do that at all.
Wet is wet. Most my kiddos are Scandinavian so light skinned, blonde hair and easily prone to rashes, dry and itchy flaking skin.

Still love cloth though as the parents literally take EVERYTHING home with them! Nothing for me to throw or toss in my garbage!
