So I had to move closer to home to help with my mother who has als. So I found a ad about a daycare opening, brand new, a home daycare going to a center. The lady was super nice at the interview, hired me at a great rate a few days later. Went to meet her at the center, got to see my new room and she pretty much told me i could do whatever I want to my room. Im going for a bee theme (my nickname is baby b). Ive taught preschool before MANY MANY years ago. Can I have all your great preschool tips and ideas? Sounds like 12 kids, 4 and up! I plan to have the room seprated into centers (Art, Writing, Reading, Blocks, Home living, Science and math). Ive bought a lot of cool stuff for the walls, working on my word cards for writing center, and have planned my birthday board. The center opens on the 11th and I was told I could pop over on a weekend and set up my room! Sorry this became a really long winded post. I know this board is mostly home daycares BUT I bet ya'll still have some GREAT advice!

I run an in-home preschool. Will you be doing full day or half day?
We have block center, writing center, puzzles, manipulatives, home, science, and then a "theme" area (this is set up according to our weekly or monthly theme and always a big hit!)
If you have any specific questions I would love to help! I can send you a copy of our schedule as well if you'd like
