It worked. I got it this morning. At 10 pm I am long in bed.

I even was able to change my avatar.....maybe us old-time seasoned providers needed a new toy to boost our morale.....Michael picked good timing to bring out the new forum!

I like it. Did you get my reply this morning? Did it work?

Yes, CH, did get your PM reply!

I had to cut out today for a little while....dh had a fender-bender and luckily my oldest son was on spring break from trade school. He and my brother was able to get his truck (airbags deployed so it's a goner, but he's safe! airbag burned his face and oddly, his arms with the blunt force). Already took the police report to the insurance and now have to mail a form and then wait for the adjuster phone call to follow protocol. A lady pulled out in front of him as he was returning to work from lunch. He had the right-of-way so hopefully all will turn out well but you never know. People just don't realize that just because we are home doesn't mean we can take care of all things; times like these would come much easier if I had been working somewhere else and I could have simply 'left'....so thankful for my close proximity family....they come through today!

I am glad to hear he is ok. What a mess, hopefully it will all go smoothly. Dealing with insurance can be so frustrating.

One thing I've always wondered about Private messages...do most member like getting pms or do they rather not?

I don't mind at all, especially for things that you may want to keep private like a very specific child/personal question or request for resources. Some things like pdf files and identifiable photos (classroom setup, playground setup) need to be emailed between providers, some things we mail to each other like extra curriculum or art supplies.. Some of us love to share, some are more concerned with clients seeing something recognizable and becoming offended.

I posted a pic of DKB on the Arts and craft group, but I have parental permission and he's allover fb and other social media, so I didn't think it was a big deal

I was referring more to protecting the providers identity so they feel free to vent and speak their mind without fear of losing their income. Not everyone owns their own program and many owners, co-workers, licensors, inspectors and mentors frequent here.
